Florence is about an hour south of Phoenix-sort of out in the middle of a lot of cactus. Deb's Getaway Horse Ranch is a sort of no frills getaway-and sort of out in the middle of a lot of cactus! What we wanted to show in this photo is the sort of wide open spaces you could find out in this area, so we thought it best to just show a little of the cactus, Deb and her horse, and a great sky. Deb and her husband, who helps take care of the ranch, were wonderful people, and that horse was awesome! He would just stand there and do whatever we wanted as we took the photos-a little to the left, a little to the right, tilt your head just a touch- he helped me out so much I wish I could of paid him or something. All Deb really had to do was stand there and smile, which actually isn't that easy, but she did it like a pro. All the people for this particular campaign were "real" people-not models or actors-which I kinda like.
